My Story
The short and sweet version
Before starting my trek south, I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. I first relocated to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2016, then decided to relocate again in 2021 to Orlando, Florida before moving to my current location of St. Petersburg, Florida. Always in pursuit of warmer winters over here.
I have a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in archaeology from the Rochester Institute of Technology. I’ve put my degree to good use exploring the realms of advertising across multiple award-winning agencies as an Art Director and UX Designer before switching to the tech industry where I currently work as a UX designer.
I am passionate about bold, colorful design, typography, and making messes. When I’m not painting, I’m working my full-time gig as a UX Designer, hiking with my pups Tilda and Boomer, or relaxing on the couch with my latest video game and a lovely glass of wine.
Blush & Blue Designs is a private studio in my home where I create all the custom artwork and calligraphy for my sweet clients. From wedding invitations and event stationery materials to original collections of artwork, and even my own line of gifts and products. My focus is on uncovering emotions and finding meaning in every detail—adding a little sparkle and of course color to the world.
